What took me so long...

Every once in a while you get lucky. You find some hidden gem that you just weren't open to before and then the right set of circumstances puts all th key peices into place and viola~ lightening strikes.

This is the story.

I have done SEVERAL fabulous events with Melanie Newton formerly at the Valley Ho~ Melanie and I are good friends now and I am UBER excited to be able to work with her again now that she is at the Arizona Grand Resort....

Many years ago she told me about a photographer in Tuscon that she loved to work with....and she would go on and on about this guy Sergio....on and on and on.....
And my first reaction was - "really this guy is gonna travel all the way up here to take pictures?
Then as the years have gone on I meet another fabulous gal named Kim McDowell of the Event Essentials and I LOVE HER. She is so creative and her personality is both sincere and memorable- and her stationary is to die for...

We were out to lunch and she mentions this amazing photographer named Sergio I just had to meet. I thought "Wow, this guy is really here to stay!"

Alright, Let's see what he can do!
I can truly say that I am so excited to have him documenting one of the most important days of my friends life- his wedding day.

Drew Coleman from Heidi's Events and Catering with Andy by his side has brought me on to help create their most important day! Take a look at the chic pics that Sergio took of the two "GQ style" for the engagement shoot....
Congrats to my favorite guys and Sergio...what the heck was I waiting for????

I am so excited to share your talents!

The importance of partnerships.....

Last week I was honored to find out that I was a guest speaker at NACE- National Association of Catering Executives. That month's meeting was at the Four Seasons property in north Scottsdale and while its certainly a hike it is well worth the drive!

My partner in crime - Drew from Heidi's Catering and Events, drove up together and while on the move I asked him about his professional relationships. And while it seems necessary to explain a difference between those "professional" and those "personal" relationships, I have to say it doesn't apply to me.

And that was a key point of my speech. My clients are so special to me and their happiness is both a measure of my professional and personal success. A peice of me is in every wedding I help to design. As well as the wedding/event professional vendors I refer to my clients. Each of them are fabulous at providing services/products for my clients but just as important to me is that they are people I would surround myself with even if it wasn't for "work". People who have the same passion for their clients as I do, and also are the nicest, most genuine, and fun people I could ask for! And I know anyone who trusts me with their day, would trust these wonderful people that I can honestly call friends.

Cheers!
